Liz Hallisey

Liz has been hiking the paths of Britain ever since she had the dumb hard luck of meeting her now-husband, Country Walking magazine deputy editor Nick, back in 1998. She's been helping out with CW reviews ever since Nick joined the magazine in 2007.

Liz loves climbing mountains, but her favourite walks are woodland and coastal hikes where she can be close to nature – and preferably finished with a nice cup of tea at the end.
