Nick Hallissey
Nick Hallissey is the deputy editor of Country Walking Magazine. An avid walker for most of his life, he came late to running, only starting in his 40s – at which point he got hooked and dedicated a quite ridiculous amount of his time to it.
His favourite places to run are the Peak District, Lake District and South Downs, but he’s just as happy doing Boston Parkrun on a Saturday morning or plodding round his local Fens. “Damian Hall was a late starter,” he points out. “There’s hope for all of us.”
