Ryan Gilmore’s obsession with cars started at a young age. He vividly remembers helping his dad clean the family’s Audi 80 as a child and being mesmerised by anything on four wheels.
With an MA in Automotive Journalism, Ryan knows his onions when it comes to writing about car-related topics and can mainly be found writing for CAR and Parkers, road-testing the best automotive accessories on the market. From wheel brushes to screenwash, Ryan enjoys finding the very best and putting them through their paces.
Ryan has previously worked in Parliament where he developed an ability to see past spin and find out what things are really like underneath. This experience also helped him understand the importance of honesty and integrity.
A bit of an amateur detailer in his spare time; if it polishes, waxes or shines Ryan is first in line to give it a go. There is nothing more exciting for him than spending an afternoon with some detailing brushes and a microfibre towel. He adores small, simple hot hatchbacks and almost anything German.
Besides an unhealthy obsession with cars, Ryan is also interested in gaming, reading and is our resident pub-grub connoisseur. He’s also a huge animal lover and adores both cats and dogs.
