The Inn is an excellent base to explore the world-renowned sites of Skye. Historic and scenic Eilean Iarmain is only seven miles up the road - visit the stone pier from which Flora MacDonald left Skye, the Gallery An Talla Dearg (open Easter to Oct), the shop and wee gin distillery of The Gaelic Whiskies and the Gaelic Gins, as well as Hotel Eilean Iarmain. Also nearby is Armadale Castle and Gardens, home to Clan Donald, and the island's newest distillery at Torabhaig just four miles up the road.
Within walking distance of the Mallaig to Armadale ferry which sails throughout the year come "over the sea to Skye"
