There are many great reasons to visit Keswick Mountain Festival but one of the highlights of this year's packed event is the chance to get expert tips from one of Britain's top mountain runners.
Robbie Simpson will be the main attraction at an exclusive Q&A in the Talk Tent at 10.30am on Saturday morning. The adidas Terrex athlete will chat to Ben Mounsey from sportsshoes.com about his career highlights, his aims for the coming season, his favourite kit and nutrition tips (Robbie loves pizza!), and his hopes for the future of trail and mountain running.
As well as medals in the European and World Mountain Running Championships, Robbie also won a stunning marathon bronze for Scotland at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, plus many first places in major competitions around the globe.
And Robbie isn't the only star name appearing in the Talk Tent, because at 1.30pm on Friday The North Face athlete Josh Wade will share similar insights into his amazing running journey so far, his training and preparation, and his plans and ambitions for the future.
Two FREE special events not to be missed!
